So, MTV had another awards show. This time in Milan, Italy for the Europe Music Awards. It was hosted by Eva Longoria-Parker, oh wait! What does Eva have to do with music? Oh, well. For the list of winners, click here.
On to some fashion news. The divas and what not arrived on the red carpet wearing some amazing dresses/gowns straight from the runway. Here are the photos.
First on my list is Katy Perry. Here she is wearing Jeremy Scott Spring 2011 dress. With her pulled-up hair, light make-up and blue heels, she actually made the dress work for her. Maybe marriage does some good to her. Her performance on the other hand was... Your choice on to what word would perfectly describe that. Here is the video:
Rihanna arrives the purple carpet wearing a Marchesa one-shouldered gown from the Spring Summer 2011 collection. Her amazingly red hair was a perfect counterpoint to the soft blush color of the gown. Plus points for looking pretty in pink. Her performance however is a different story, though the color is much like her red purple carpet look. Watch it below.
Next is 17-year old Miley Cyrus. Wait, 17?!? Oh my!
Anyway, here she is wearing a Fall 2010 chiffon gown from D&G. It is very prim and proper at the top then fun and flirty at the bottom. Although the gown seems a little too sexy (read: backless!) for a 17-year old, at least she doesn't look like a stripper.
Now onto teens who look like strippers, that is if strippers wear Fall 2010 slouchy thigh high boots from Alexander McQueen. That would be Taylor Momsen. I actually do not care what she wears as a top but this pair of boots belong to a much fashionable individual. Sigh!
Runner-up goes to Eva Longoria wearing a Couture dress from Georges Hobeika's Spring 2010 collection. She changed up the look by not wearing the skirt. And because she hosted the awards show, she had like 10 outfit changes and I am not even exaggerating. Too bad, I am not fan of her because If I was, I would share them all with you. Anyway, If you are a fan, check it out here.
See yah later!
