Off With Your Head, Dance 'till Your Dead, Cause This is Thriller!!!

Yes, you guessed it right! The title is from the lyrics of Heads Will Roll (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and MJ's Thriller. Both of which will be featured on Glee's upcoming SuperBowl episode.

If you're still unsure of what's gonna happen on their next episode, you might want to read this. Although I am pretty sure a lot has been written about that episode on other sites.

Anyway, I just wanted to share some pics I got from Just Jared. It features some of the glee kids in Zombie Make-Up!

Looking like a happy zombie, Naya Rivera walks on with her Louis Vuitton Speedy bag.

Her complete look consists of black zip-up jacket, grey tank top, black opaque tights and boots.
But, gurl! You forgot your pants/skirts/shorts!!!

Lea looks like a pretty little Zombie!

Her outfit is a study on proportions and comfort.
A white shirt paired with loose black pants and leather ballet shoes.

I read somewhere that Dianna likes Wigs and Costumes.
It shows!
Loving her smile and her gray hoodie and black leather bag.

Too much texting can make you a zombie.
Proof is Heather Morris! LOL
Although I wished she smiled a little.
I love her accessories here. The scarf looks amazing, not to mention headpiece!

Someone needs to take his happy pill.

What happened here?!? Kevin looks scary in this...

February's just around the corner guys.

Prada Goes Bananas

I'm kinda late in the Spring 2011 Collections but let me differ, Spring is just starting in some countries. So, it is just perfect. Another perfect thing, Prada's Spring Collection for 2011 entitled "Minimal Baroque".

The collection was described by Miuccia as "brave, bold, and obvious". It features bright colors, cherubs, jungle prints, stripes, baroque curlicues, monkeys and bananas. Not to mention the colored faux (!?!) fur stoles. The entire collection has the perfect balance of minimalism and maximalism. The inspiration comes from the legendary jazz-age entertainer Josephine Baker.

Want proof? Chech out these photos below.

Model Arizona Muse opened the show in a bright Orange dress.

Also featured are comfy-looking wedges and the aforementioned fur stole.

Is this the next "It" bag?

Baroque Sunglasses anyone?
Although it seems that these wouldn't be available for retail.

Baroque gone Modern

Stripes is always a good thing.

Fortunately, I found the entire runway show on Prada's channel on Youtube. Here is the video.

One more thing, more like two more! Also from Youtube, I got the fashion video ad of the collection plus a backstage video.

Glee Cute Couple Alert

Well, almost on Glee. At least half of them is in it.

Faithful readers of this blog would know that I adore Jayma Mays. (Proof: Click, click!) I mean, how can you not love her adorable doe eyes! And I have also posted a photo of her husband, British Actor, Adam Campbell.

Anyway, I found these photos from a shoot they did with The Nest Magazine. Jayma Mays stars on the cover of this home decor magazine. Inside, she and her husband talked about first dates, wedding memories and baby plans. BTW, their babies are gonna look adorable!

Here are the photos.

Jayma is looking relaxed and un-uptight on the cover.
Love her gorgeous hair in this pic, too!

One word: Adorable!
I was thinking of putting 'Super' but that is not just one word.

Go ahead and pick up a copy of The Nest's Winter 2011 issue for more of these twosome.

But before that, watch this behind-the-scenes video.

From Runway to Red Carpet: Golden Globes, Non-Color Edition

As promised yesterday, here is yet another Golden Globes post.

Side Note: Sorry for the lack of interesting posts. Nothing's really happening Glee-wise and Personal-wise.

If the last post deals about the wonderful colors at the Golden Globes, this time, its an ode to non-colors. (Check this link, if you haven't seen it.)That will be the blacks, beiges, creams, gray, etc. Although I am unsure if I saw a gray gown on last Sunday's event. Enough blabbering! Let's head on to the photos.

How can you wear a non-color and still steal the spotlight?
Be like Anne Hathaway in a fully sequined Armani Privé gown.
This Fall 2010 gown features long sleeves, an interesting shoulder and is backless.
Van Cleef & Arpels jewels finishes the look.

There were quite a handful of gowns with sleeves attached to them on the Globes.
Another one of which is Annette Bening's black gown.
The stunning dress is from Tom Ford's much awaited
Spring 2011 womenswear collection.
If I am not mistaken, Annette was the first one who wore it on the red carpet.
Good choice! Beside her is Warren Beatty.
Plus points for winning Best Actress for 'The Kids Are Alright'.

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester wore a light gown
from Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2010 Collection.
She went without the belt but added Cathy Waterman jewels,
a Louis Vuitton bag, and Jimmy Choo shoes.

Jane Fonda was also present, in a Georges Hobeika creation.
Neil Lane jewelelry completed her look.
I have nothing but praises for a woman her age who cam still rock the runway!

My kind of fashion icon, Tilda Swanton in an amazing custom gown.
The gown is by Jil Sander, and it features a white dress shirt and
a champagne colored skirt. This is maximum minimalist.
She added pink-ish pumps for a shot of color.

From long sleeved gowns to still some other type of sleeves.
Scarlett Johansson wore a bell-sleeved gown
from Elie Saab Spring 2011 Collection.
The gown would've washed her color out but the texture brought it up to light.
Just like Leighton, she wore the gown without the belt,
but added Van Cleef & Arpels jewels to finish up her look.

Something about being single again.
Just like ScarJo, Sandra Bullock wore a frothy ensemble from Jenny Packham.
I really like the silhouette on her but the bangs has to go away!
Irit jewels completes the look.

Helen Mirren showed up in an elegant couture gown from Badgley Mischka.
The stunning drapery worked wonders on her figure.
She added Cartier jewels (worth 1.4 million dollars from what I hear)
and a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch to her awards night look.

Not much a sleeve but more of a cape this time.
Jennifer Lopez wore a stunning white gown
from Zuhair Murad Spring 2011 collection.
She added some bling via a Swarovski clutch and Harry Winston jewels.

No more sleeves!

Julianne Hough went without sleeves but with a very intricate collar.
The black gown is from red carpet regular Marchesa.
A little too tribal perhaps, because it is from the resort collection, naturally.
She added Bulgari jewels and a Leiber clutch.

No more sleeves this time, but little straps on shoulders.
Seen here is Piper Perabo in an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 gown.
Fine, not so little straps but a bow on her right shoulder.
Bulgari jewels and a Leiber clutch completed her look.

Pixie-haired Michele Williams wore a floral, in a very literal sense of the word,
gown from Valentino Resort 2011 Collection.
She finishes up the look with Fred Leighton jewels.

Bringing old Hollywood glamour to present,
Jayma Mays looked stunning in a black Alberta Ferretti gown.

14 year old, Hailee Steinfeld looked every bit a teenager
in a white Prabal Gurung Spring 2011 gown.
Sweet, innocent and oh so pretty!
She also wore Tiffany & Co. jewels to the event.

After two shoulders, let's try just one!
Julie Bowen looked slim in her Tadashi Shoji Spring 2011 gown.
Although the designer went a little overboard with trimmings,
I still like it, kind of like it.
Martin Katz jewels and a Leiber clutch completed her look.

The always stunning Nicole Kidman chose a very simple ivory gown from Prada.
The one-shouldered gown features a matching bow belt and a brooch.
She added Fred Leighton jewels.

The sexier that before Kelly Osbourne wore
an interesting Zac Posen Spring 2011 gown.
Although it looked more structured than the runway look, which made it better.
Kimberly McDonald jewels finishes the ensemble.

Lastly, how about no strap at all.

All smiles! Olivia Wilde wore a Marchesa ball gown.
She added Tiffany & Co. jewels and showed off her Christian Louboutin shoes.

And there you have it. Hopefully I'll be able to get some juicy glee news for you next time.

From Runway to Red Carpet: Color Story at the Golden Globes

As promised, here is another post regarding the Golden Globes...

Green was a predominant color on the red carpet for this year's Golden Globes. There were also some bright colors present, blues, pinks, some beiges, and some more. Let's head on with the photos.

At the top of my best dressed list is Catherine Zeta-Jones.

She wore an amazing gown in most awesome shade of green by Monique Lhuillier.
The gown is from the designer's 2011 Pre-Fall collection.
She is pictured here with husband Michael Douglas
who just had his throat cancer treated.
Catherine matched the look with some dazzling
Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and Ferragamo heels.

Another celebrity who wore green successfully is Angelina Jolie.
Seen here with her husband, Brad Pitt who wore Versace tux,
Angie wore an Atelier Versace gown.

Mila Kunis looks fab in this green gown by Vera Wang.
The textured gown went front and center without jewelry to steal its thunder.

Mad Men star Elizabeth Moss also donned green.
She wore a strapless silk butterfly bodice gown
by her go-to designer, Donna Karan.

Helena Bonham Carter looked crazy beautiful in a Vivienne Westwood.
The green in her look was on her feet, well, at least one of them.

On to another color, hmm,. Let's try blue this time.

Amy Adams looked stunning in a one-shouldered Marchesa gown.
She paired it with Cartier jewels and a Kilian Hennessy clutch.

Tina Fey surprisingly looked very put together
in this velvet L'Wren Scott Spring 2011 gown.

On to more blue gowns, this time on Jane Krakowski.
The very pregnant and blooming mom to be wore Badgley Mischka Couture

Mandy Moore wore a frothy Monique Lhuillier gown
from the designer's Pre-Fall 2011 collection.
Chopard jewels completes the look.

Not to be outdone by the ladies, Jon Hamm wore a navy blue tuxedo for the night.
He is seen here with Jennifer Westfeldt, in Roberto Cavalli.

Pinks and Reds also made an appearance on the red carpet. Let's check them out.

At the top of the pink heap, Claire Danes opted for a minimalist gown
from Calvin Klein Collection.
I'm almost sure this is the color of the year 2011, Honeysuckle.
She added Fred Leighton cuff on one arm and Hugh Dancy, in Burberry, on the other.

The blooming mom to be, Natalie Portman showed her baby bump
in a pale pink column gown by Viktor & Rolf.
Tiffany & Co. jewels and a Dior clutch completes the look.

Julianne Moore wore head-to-toe Lanvin for the Golden Globes.
She wore a custom bright pink Lanvin gown and paired it with nude Lanvin platform shoes.
She wore Bulgari jewelry to the event.

Julianna Margulies was a breath of fresh air, in vintage Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture.
She finishes the look with Cartier jewels.

Sorry, I can't help but be mesmerized by this Glee star's look.
Lea Michele wore her go-to designer for red carpet, Oscar dela Renta.
The pink gown is from the designer's Spring 2011 show.
Lorraine Schwartz jewels completes the look.

Sofia Vergara put the Hot in Hot Pink in this Vera Wang gown.
She also wore David Webb jewels, but did not distract from her, erm, form!

Heidi Klum seen here with husband Seal wore a Spring 2011 dress from Marc Jacobs.
An armful of bangles completed her look.

Fringe was January Jones choice for her Golden Globes gown.
She wore the red version of a Spring 2011 Versace look.
Although I prefer the runway version, the red seems a bit more sultry.

So, tell me what do you think? Share it on the comments below.

I'm gonna try to squeeze in another Golden Globes post (for the non colors, gray, black, nudes, beiges, you know the drill) later, or most probably tomorrow.
